Freddie Mercury mondta egyszer egy interjúban, hogy szerinte csak kétféle zene létezik: jó zene és rossz zene. Ezt még akkor, 12 éves fejjel nem igazán értettem, pontosabban értetlenül hallottam ezt a primitívnek tűnő választ. Igen sok időben tellett, míg rájöttem, mit is akart nekünk ezzel közölni a zenetörténelem egyik legmeghatározóbb énekese. Az, hogy milyen stílust játszik egy előadó vagy zenekar, az nem számít, hisz minden zenei stílus önmagában tökéletes. Az viszont nem mindegy, hogyan adja elő a művész. Mindent lehet ugyanis jól is és rosszul is játszani. Lehet szívvel-lélekkel, őszintén megszólítani az embereket és lehet hiteltelenül, semmitmondó szövegekkel. A kérdés tehát nem a zenei műfajon, stíluson vagy akár a technikán, képzettségen van, hanem az előadó személyiségén, hitelességén, mondanivalóján. Csak az a zenész, zenekar lesz sikeres, akiben megvan a kellő alázat magához a zenéhez és a közönséghez egyaránt. 

Freddie Mercury had said in one of his interview that there are two kind of music: good music and bad music. That time at my age of 12 I did not understand this answer seems so 'primitive'. It took so much time when I realised what one of the most determinative singer of music history wanted to communicate to us. It does not matter what type of music is played because all music genre is perfect as it is. On the other hand it is not at all how it is played. All can be played eighter good or bad. It could be played heartly and truly and also untruthful and with meaningless lyrics. So the question is not about the music genre, style, technics or qulification but the personality, credibility or say of the performer. Only that musician or band is going to be famous who has the due humility for the music itself and for the audience.
